White metal figurines are pretty low-maintenance, but a little gentle care keeps them looking sharp and not dull or patchy.
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or microfiber
Avoid water soaking — wipe only if needed with a barely damp cloth
Skip harsh cleaners or abrasives (they can dull the finish)
Keep away from humidity (bathrooms/windowsills with condensation)
Don’t use metal polish unless it’s specifically safe for plated finishes
Handle with clean hands to avoid oil marks
Store away from direct sunlight to prevent uneven ageing
If it ever starts looking a bit tired, a soft dry buff usually brings back the shine surprisingly well.
